Title Auburn Veterans Day Parade Coin

Description Round metal coin with gold finish. Coin has red and blue enameling on both sides. Edge of coin is flat and smooth, with no ridges or enamel. Obverse has the image of a bald eagle below a gold star with the words "50 Years" inside. An inscription around the edge of the obverse reads "Auburn Veterans Day Parade." Reverse has the logo of the City of Auburn in the center with the words "2015 Veterans Day Parade" above and below it. An inscription around the edge reads "Proud to Honor Veterans & Active Military."

Coins were produced by the City of Auburn to give as thank you presents to people and organizations who participated in the 2015 Auburn Veterans Day Parade festivities. The 2015 parade was the 50th anniversary of the Veterans Day parade in Auburn. This coin was given to the White River Valley Museum in thanks for its participation with the exhibit "Service Ink" and making the museum building available for Veterans Day events and tours.
