Cotton quilt with unfinished edges. Pattern in red and green on white background. Turkey tracks pattern. White background is elaborately quilted with hearts and floral patterns.
Made by Damara Todd Lochridge (1796 - 1857). Damara was born in North Carolina and married John Lochridge in 1822 in Hopkins County, Kentucky. The quilt was made in Illinois between 1830 and 1832. Quilt was brought to Washington in 1884 by her son, John Talbot Lochridge, who lived in Auburn and Enumclaw.
