Scope & Content One of fifteen railroad time books for Kenneth E. Goodson of Auburn, WA. Gray colored heavy paper with red printing. This covers January through December of 1952. Cover graphic shows engine of train coming towards viewer. Cover states that this book is compliments of the Benefit Association of Railway Employees. Records the train number, engine he was working on, his hours, the Engineer, Fireman, Conductor or Brakeman he was working with, total miles, his rate of pay, total earnings, and deductions. Everything is written in pencil. Notes his identification as: Mrs K. Goodson, 206 - L - St. - S.E., Auburn, Wash. Though this states that this is Mrs. K. Goodson's book, the handwriting is the same as the other books Kenneth used, so it makes sense that this is his book, not hers. There are multiple advertisements for the Benefit Association of Railway Employees (B.A.R.E.), The Railroad Man's Association, 901 Montrose Ave., 13, Chicago, Ill. B.A.R.E. produced this book. Cover also states "Get all three from the B.A.R.E.; 1. Hospital-Surgical Protection for you and your family 2. Life Insurance Protection for you and your family 3.
